We started working with Carmen when our infant son’s breastfeeding challenges persisted after a tongue tie release and multiple lactation consults.
Carmen helped us maintain a breastfeeding relationship for the first 5 months with exercises and stretches to build our baby’s strength and mobility, until he was ready to continue breastfeeding on his own. She coordinated with our lactation consultant, offered tools, and helped us gain confidence in our ability to continue without support. Thank you Carmen!
Carmen is the most amazing OT out there! Our newborn had trouble taking a bottle due to an upper lip tie and we were really struggling with bottle acceptance. Carmen was able to help address the feeding challenges as well as other areas our baby had tension. Carmen was so gentle and compassionate with our baby, I instantly felt comfortable with her.
