Brain and Body Kinder Readiness Group

A Three-Week Group Series with Little Roots OT

Movement, Play, and Regulation for Kindergarten Readiness

This summer, help your child build the core foundations needed for kindergarten success—through purposeful play, movement-based learning, and regulation-focused routines rooted in sensory and developmental support.

You’ll walk away with:
Fun, affordable therapeutic activities to support your child at home
A supportive community and group connection through three engaging sessions designed to boost your child’s kindergarten readiness
Access to discounted OT services (free core screenings available upon request)
A bonus library of sensory-motor play ideas to keep your child learning and moving all summer long
A stronger, more confident and regulated child

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

You may have heard the phrase: “A moving child is a learning child.”
That’s because movement isn’t just play—it’s how children build the brain-body connections essential for focus, self-regulation, and learning.

Before a child can sit still, write their name, or follow multi-step directions, they need strong core muscles, postural control and integration of the senses. These hidden foundations are developed through movement!

That’s why we created this 3-part summer OT play series—to help kids strengthen the foundational skills they need to thrive in school and beyond.

Each week, we’ll explore:
Core strength and coordination to support posture, balance, and sustained attention
Hand-eye and fine motor skills for writing, cutting, and everyday classroom tasks
Sensory and regulation tools to support transitions, focus, and emotional control

Parents are required to stay throughout the series. These sessions are designed to empower both you and your child with tools, strategies, and shared connections that carry over into everyday life.
